Larix decidua 'Pendula' - Weeping European Larch

Height: 6-10’, depends on staking   

Spread: 2-6’ (dense slender branches, extremely pendulous)  

Foliage: Green with a yellow tint  

Fall: Bright yellow  

Hardiness:  3-6     

Growth Rate: Medium-slow    

Preferred Soil: ph 4.5-6, Requires acid soils and moist bottomlands but can be adaptable.

Attributes: It develops a thick canopy with numerous thin hanging branchlets, that hang completely vertical when staked high enough, or it can also sweep the adjacent ground areas. Its mop-like appearance makes it an interesting conversation piece.
